Basic Driver Responsibilities

  • The car must be driven only by the driver authorized by the company, who has reached the age of 23 and holds a driving license for at least 1 year.
  • Always have the circulation permit and accompanying document inside the car and present it upon request by the Police Authorities.
  • The insurance must be placed in the designated positions. Ensure timely supply of the car with the Fuel Emission Control Card and/or the Vehicle Inspection Certificate (KTEO).

Vehicle Check

For proper car operation and your safety, regularly check the following:

  • Oil level
  • Coolant level
  • Brake fluid level Condition and tire pressure
  • Functioning of lights

THE ABOVE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE EXTREMELY SERIOUS AND SHOULD NEVER BE IGNORED.

Roadside Assistance

Your car is covered by 24-hour Roadside Assistance provided by HELLAS SERVICE.

In case of immobilization of the vehicle due to mechanical breakdown or accident, notify HELLAS SERVICE at 1057 and arrange for its transportation to the MOTORLEASE Technical Support Center.

Maintenance – Repair

  • For the maintenance of your car, follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Tire changes are expected due to normal wear and tear.
  • The maintenance, repair, and tire changes can only be done at the workshops indicated by MOTORELEASE.
  • For these procedures, always make sure to schedule an appointment, indicating the odometer reading.
  • For this purpose, please contact the Technical Support Center of MOTORLEASE at least 5 days before the desired date, from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, at the phone number: 210 689 7100.
  • If the car is not drivable, notify the ROAD ASSISTANCE for its transportation to the nearest Technical Service Center of MOTORLEASE or the recommended workshop.
  • Please note that MOTORLEASE does not accept repair or spare parts invoices.

Accident Case

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:

  • Do not acknowledge any third-party claims.
  • Never give money to anyone or sign any document. Contact the Police for exchanging information if possible. (This is necessary in case of injury.)
  • Contact the accident care for exchanging information if possible.
  • Drive your car only if you are sure it is safe; otherwise, contact Roadside Assistance and transport the car to the nearest MOTORLEASE Technical Support Center.
  • Fill out the Accident Declaration in any case and send it by fax within 24 hours to 210 684 0610, attention to the Claims Department, or to info@motorlease.gr.
  • Make an appointment with MOTORLEASE for repairing your car.
  • Theft Case
    WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
    Contact MOTORLEASE immediately, reporting the incident to the Claims Department at 210 689 7100.
  • Submit a report immediately to the Police Station of the area where the theft occurred. Report the theft to MOTORLEASE in writing within 24 hours and deliver the car keys.

The above deadlines and obligations are extremely serious and must not be ignored. Always keep in mind that compliance with basic safety rules (e.g., locking the car) to avoid such incidents is your contractual obligation.

Insurance Coverage

Your contract with MOTORLEASE includes the following Insurance Coverage:

  • Third Party Liability (Material damages – Bodily injuries) up to the amounts specified by law
  • Theft (partial or total)
  • Fire
  • Terrorist Acts
  • Natural Phenomena
  • Own damages with a participation amount (mixed with exemption)

Possible variations in Insurance Coverage are specified in the Lease Agreement.

Exceptions from Insurance Coverage

As we know, the following cases are not covered by insurance: Individual impacts on the lower part of the car.

Damages – destruction – tire damages, damages to wheels and other parts of the car caused by driving on unpaved roads or due to misuse (e.g., mounting curbs).

  • Damages to the interior of the car (upholstery, dashboard, etc.).
  • Damages caused to the car while being transported by ships or trains. Towing of caravans or trailers.
  • Special insurance is required, and the cost is your responsibility.
  • Driving the car by unauthorized individuals.

No insurance coverage applies if you drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other prohibited substances.
